Jindal Steel Power Tamnar Installation
ReErth was commissioned to design and construct a low-resistance grounding loop for JPL Tamnar (Raigarh). The local soil was extremely gravelly, rocky, and highly resistive (650 Ω·m), rendering typical chemical rods ineffective.
Measured Resistivity:650 Ω·m (Rocky Strata)
Electrodes Installed:23 nos (Saumya SEE3070 3.1m)
Final Resistance Achieved:< 0.8 Ω
Complies with IEEE 80 touch and step safety designs.
